They need volunteers for their Lavender
for Leukaemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma Appeal.
The aromatic scent of lavender is set to waft through the streets of Queensland during July, when the Leukaemia Foundation holds its annual Lavender for leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma appeal.
The Lavender for leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma campaign aims to raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation of Queensland to help continue to support patients and their families living with leukaemias, lymphomas, myeloma and related blood disorders.
Volunteers and local businesses around Queensland will be selling lavender merchandise throughout the monhth of July including teddy bears, lapel pins, lip balm, pot pourri and soaps. Lavender is a flower which symbolises healing, cleansing and longevity. These elements are integral to the Foundation’s mission to care and vision to cure.
Lavender merchandise will also be sold in the Brisbane CBD by volunteer street sellers on Friday 11 July. If you would like to volunteer or find out your nearest reseller please contact Leonie Millar on (07) 3318 4454.
They are also running a door knock appeal NOW!
So dig deep for the kids who suffer!
